1960’s Classic 61ft Yacht

The Lone Ranger 2 is berthed in the beautiful Marina Del Rey harbor. It was built in 1961 for Jack Rather, the producer of The Lone Ranger and Lassie. The same man also built the Horizon hotel in Palm Springs, and the original Disneyland hotel.  The yacht is now owned by a renowned international fashion photographer/director. If you’re in the creative industry, whether it be the head of a studio, an advertising exec, or a group of fashion designers- this is the perfect place to get your team away from the office for a little inspiration. This 61ft beauty boasts modern elegance, vintage charm, and is available for a variety of occasions, whether they be: creative think tank meetings, photoshoots, film shoots, fashion shoots, small business meetings, celebrations, intimate cocktail parties, or if you just need a relaxing place to recharge and focus. If you’d like to toss Lassie’s ashes into the sea, you can do that, too, because we found them hidden under a bunk bed.

Become immersed in all the lovely amenities this unique yacht has to offer. Hang out on deck around our custom made, handcrafted table and seating, or lounge on the sundeck and pretend you’re Charles Grodin or Cybill Shepherd from the original Heartbreak Kid. Come below deck into our main salon, decorated with an eclectic mix of mid-century furniture and timeless nautical charm. If you were JFK and you wanted to take Marilyn Monroe for a spin- you would have surely done it aboard The Lone Ranger.

We offer two separate rates: one for dockside shoots/events, and a second for leaving the harbor. Just let us know the occasion, the size of your group, the duration of your event, and whether you’ll be hanging in the marina or cruising the Pacific. (Don’t worry, if you’re heading out to sea, our good ole’ captain is at the helm). Captain included in hourly price.

If your name is Gilligan, you have the wrong boat.
